3 Things to Do With…
How many things can we do with common items, such as paper clips. craft sticks, pool noodles, and clothespins? We will be using our imaginations to discover the answers. Students will play games and make unique creations. They will go home with ideas to explore further on their own.
Session 3: July 30, 31, and August 1, 2
We’ll read a few versions of the classics- The Three Bears, The Three Pigs, The Little Red Hen, and The Tortoise and the Hare. We’ll role play and retell the stories through play and art. There is sure to be a lot of discussion about the characters and stories.
Session 4: August 6, 7, 8, 9
Try It! With Water
Why is water so important to us? How do animals and people use water? What can we learn about water when it is mixed with other liquids and solids. We will be exploring water inside and outside. We’ll ask questions, make predictions, record our findings, and learn something new!
Session 5: August 13, 14, 15, 16
How Is It Made?
Let’s wonder together about how common and not so common items are constructed or made from raw materials. We’ll talk about process, steps, instructions, making plans and recipes. We’ll make some simple snacks to enjoy when our families return.
