Winter Break Writing Camp (ages 9-13)

February 17, 18, and 19th
10 am – Noon

Kids have a lot to say and process — and besides that they are creative! Writing Camp will provide kids with a relaxed, but lively atmosphere in which to write and explore feelings, ideas and theories about how the world works. Using fun prompts and exercises, kids will have the opportunity to express themselves in writing and grow their confidence as writers. They will be invited and given opportunities to share their stories, poems, character sketches, etc.. — but sharing will not be mandatory. Besides having a good time, the goal of Writing Camp is to help kids find writing a useful tool for both creative expression and emotional wellness. Journals and snacks will be provided.
