Sleepaway Camp Guide

What struck me most when I was compiling this list was just how MANY activities kids have to choose from at these camps. Fishing, boating, archery, horseback riding, etc… there really is something for EVERYONE.

Another thing you’ll probably notice is that some of these are your typical week by week camps and others are 4-8 week camps that are quite a bit more expensive.

Keep in mind that this is a very rough list of overnight/sleepaway camps located nearby or in Eastern/Northern New York State. If you’d like a more thorough listing, visit the American Camp Association’s website.

Important: All or almost all of these camps offer some form of financial aid or tiered pricing.
